Story

The challenge for you and other elite players signing with management companies revolves around the inability of the golf agent to provide the personalized attention that increases your odds of dream-fulfilling success. Agents may take on dozens of skilled players. More players on an agent's roster equals less time and attention provided to each. Because of this, you may not be equipped with critical components that enhance your career. Imagine being on the PGA Tour and not having an agent on call 24/7, digital promotion and a support team managing your brand. Communicating with fans and maintaining your image is worth a lot of money. The more popular you are, the more valuable you are to sponsors. Yet many professionally managed players on the PGA Tour aren't their agent's main focus and don't have a team working around the clock to create a valuable and successful image.

The talent pool of professional golfers has deepened since the emergence of Tiger Woods. More professional golfers earn a living chasing their dream than ever before. Enhanced international interest has created a new willingness for corporate investment in professional golf. Because of corporate partnerships, more financial opportunities for successful professional golfers exist, which has also led to increased competitive and managerial challenges. For the majority of aspiring and established professional golfers with visions of grandeur, proper guidance can be the difference between “giving it a shot,” and “accomplishing lifelong dreams.”

Enter Brad Heaven from New Zealand, founder of Heaven Global Management. Brad grew up representing his country internationally before spending four years at the University of Toledo. Then, after signing with a sports management company, Brad played professional golf around the globe for six years. The world of professional golf can be a daunting and lonely journey. Talented young players are constantly thrust into this world and expected to find their way to the top without the guidance and support of experienced professionals who have been there.

Brad forged Heaven Global Management to help build Great Champions through education and cultivating talent. By minimizing the challenges away from the golf course, Heaven Global Management shortens the learning curve required to win at the highest levels of professional golf. Brad promises to ensure clients are never treated as commodities, but as successful, well-rounded individuals, fully equipped to achieve their vast potential. Heaven Global Management helps to provide the optimum conditions for a player’s success through establishing meaningful and professional relationships, advancing players’ opportunity. By being accessible to clients at all times, providing valuable guidance from experienced professional golfers, setting players up with practice facilities and technical support, marketing players and managing their public images, and forging lucrative business relationships with investing partners, Heaven Global Management’s entire existence is devoted to amazingly talented people and ensuring their continued success.

Way too determined and driven to let this get him down, Brad has sought finding the answers in the off season so he can hit the ground running in 2012. Geary finishes fourth on Nationwide tour event | Via www.stuff.co.nz

New Zealand golfer Josh Geary has enjoyed his best finish of the season on the Nationwide Tour in the United States.
Geary today finished in a three-way tie for fourth at the Midwest Classic with a 20-under par tally, six shots behind the winner, Australian James Nitties.
He collected $US22,733 ($NZ27,800) for his week's work to push season earnings out to $US74,041, which sees him climb 14 spots to 50th on the moneylist.
There are nine tournaments remaining and Geary needs to finish in the top 25 on the moneylist to gain a PGA Tour card for next season.
The Tauranga professional had missed the last three cuts on the United States second tier tour, and his previous best finish on the tour this season was a tie for seventh at the Wichita Open in June.
He bolted into contention after a sizzling 10-under par 61 in the third round yesterday and he started the final round in Kansas in third spot, just two shots behind Nitties.
Geary carded seven birdies today but two costly double bogeys and a dropped shot at the first wrecked his title hopes, finishing with a two-under par 69.
Compatriot Brad Iles finished with a 15-under par total of 269 to be in a three-way tie for 22nd.
Danny Lee failed to make the cut but remains 10th on the moneylist and on track for a PGA Tour card.
